Ingredients:

A blend of  Organic Soybeans, Oak pellets and Organic oat groats 

Growing conditions:

• Temperature: 15-30°C optimal is 

• Humidity: 85–95%

• Light: Indirect: (500–1000 lux)

• High air exchange: Should be below 500pm (room with open windows) check

How to grow: 

Step 1: Unbox Your Kit

Carefully remove your Lion’s Mane grow kit from the packaging. Do not open the grow bag as this should remain sealed to prevent any contamination from entering the bag. 

Step 2: Cut an Opening

• Using a sterile scissors Cut a small "X" (about 2–3 inches) or a singular long line making sure not to damage the substrate as this can stunt growth. 
• Handy tip: Cutting an X into the bag will produce lots of smaller more dense fruits, this method is easier to grow as moisture is trapped in the X. The Long singular line will produce less but much larger fruits.

Step 3: Mist Daily

Place the kit in a spot with:

• Indirect light

• Fresh airflow

• Room temperature (65–75°F or 18–24°C)

Mist the cut area with clean water 2–3 times per day to keep humidity levels high. You can place a humidity tent (a clear plastic bag with air holes) loosely over the kit for best results.

Step 4: Watch for Growth

• Within the first 3-7 days of cutting the bag and placing the inoculated block in ideal conditions,  you should start to see the lions mane fruit (primordia)
• Once the primordia have formed the lions mane should be ready to harvest in 5-10. in optimal condition you should see your lions mane double in size every 24-48 hours
  • When to harvest: Your home grown lions mane will be ready to harvest when the spines of the mushroom, the shaggy looking hair, reach around 60/160 mm or 1/4 to1/2 of an inch. 
  • If you don't harvest at this time the lions mane may start to brown and release spores, they will still be edible but wont taste as good.
